I really wish I could make it to Potlatch, but the cross-country flight isn't possible, especially so soon after the holidays. I think the next con I'm going to is Vericon, a small convention in Boston which is primarily for gamers but features a number of great authors and editors this year. After that... probably Wiscon, if I can afford it and find a room.

I've been in touch with Mary Kay, Kate, so hopefully I'm on the schedule for a reading and maybe a panel or two. Now I just have to decide what to read. But don't worry. It won't be toolpunk.

We want everybody who ever went to Clarion West to attend Potlatch 17 and read a story. If all four hundred and some alumni show up, we'll be in trouble (how do you accommodate four hundred readings in one weekend? A paragraph each, I suppose, and on we go), but I'm betting that some more reasonable number will actually make it.
